CYG Wins Multiple Awards at the Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition

Recently, at the final of the 2nd Energy Electronics Industry Innovation Competition, CYG Energy and Electric Power Research Institute (Guangdong) Co., Ltd.(CYG EERI) delivered outstanding performances across several categories, including intelligent micro-grids, new energy storage products, and key terminal applications. The institute won multiple awards, including second and third prizes as well as an excellence award, demonstrating its technological innovations and practical applications in the energy sector.

 

The competition, hosted by the Industrial Development Promotion Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, had the theme "Creating Smart Source Electronics, Building Dreams of Industrial Innovation." It called for submissions in areas such as solar photovoltaics, new energy storage products, critical information technology, and key terminal applications, aiming to fully stimulate innovation within the industry. In the intelligent micro-grid field, CYG EERI won the second prize for its project "Technological Innovation and Application of Intelligent Micro-grid for Park Energy Based on Photovoltaic-Storage-Charging Coordination." The project utilizes a linear optimization algorithm to optimize the energy storage control strategy, significantly improving the energy efficiency of the park and effectively reducing user electricity costs through coordinated optimization and dispatch management of both energy supply and demand sides.

In the new energy storage products category, CYG EERI won an excellence award for its "Battery Life Prediction Technology Based on Neural Networks." This technology employs BILSTM and hybrid optimization algorithms to construct a battery life prediction model, addressing the challenge of complex and missing data in energy storage battery predictions.
